Join Katrina, Snotty, and other wild characters for an interactive storytelling experience. We will experiment with building different characters, play games, make art, and work together to weave a tale of turning seasons.

We will talk about what is happening in the Earth, in outer space and to the natural environment around us during this transition from summer to fall. After, we will story it. With an art activity, an opportunity for costuming and face paint, and of course some quality time with Snotty and his friends, learn the science behind autumn’s beauty and stretch the imagination to weave and role play a unique story about the same.

Materials:

  • a few leaves, a pine cone or something fallen from a tree

  • glue stick

  • several pieces of paper (can be white or construction)

  • coloring materials

  • face paint and/ or makeup and/ or autumn-inspired costumes

  • (optional) a puppet or stuffy

Great for ages 7 and up. Not to worry if you don’t have some of the materials - much of the event is story-based and all participants will be able to contribute/ participate (if they want) regardless of materials.
