Join us this Monday, July 1st, at:
6:00 pm — “Band in a Hat”
6:30 pm — Bill Murray Monday (This week showing “What About Bob?”)
(Doors open at 5:30; $7 suggested donation)
Band in a Hat
“Band in a Hat” is an engaging opportunity for local musicians to collaborate and share their talents with our community! If you play a musical instrument, wish to become more connected to other local artists, AND want to challenge your creativity, then this activity is for you!
How it works:
You, a musically-inclined individual, show up to The Historic Ute Theatre.
Submit your name into the hat of your preferred instrument category (strings, brass, keys, vocals, etc.).
We randomly pick names out of each hat to form impromptu bands.
You and your new band will have a month to write and practice a 20-minute set to perform next month!
Show up next month to perform, and join a new band for the following month!
Bill Murray Monday
We will also be debuting a possible re-occurring offering that we are calling Bill Murray Monday, where we, as the name suggests, show Bill Murray films and shows the first Monday of each month.
This week’s Bill Murray Monday movie is… What About Bob?
(Please note: This week we are showing “What About Bob?” on a donation-basis, however, for future regular movie showings, admissions will be $7.)
