Salsa con Salsa: Happy Feet and Tasty Treat

Although our doors remain closed, the Historic Ute Theatre team is happy to host virtual events that aspire to Uplift, Transform, and Engage during these times! These events are made possible thanks to support from a Saguache County Sales Tax Grant as well as a 1st Southwest Community Fund Innovation Assistance Award.

Salsa con Salsa: Happy Feet and Tasty Treat

Friday, 9/18. 4:30-6:00pm and

Saturday, 9/19, 4:30-7:00pm

In this free, two-day workshop, we will honor Hispanic Heritage Month through a unique online Salsa Con Salsa Latin Dance Fiesta! On Friday, we will join a beginner Salsa class with Adams State University students. On Saturday, Oneyda will be spending one-on-one time just with us as we master the basic steps of Salsa; then, we will enjoy sharing our stories and our favorite Salsa recipes during breaks.

Let's heal each other in these challenging times through moving our bodies, gaining cultural awareness, making new friends, and having fun!

Participation is limited to 20. To pre-register, email info@historicutetheatre.com or call 719-427-1080 with your name, phone number, and email; we will contact you with more info.
