After bringing their performance to the Ute in Saguache, the SHS Drama Team is also excited to be bringing (for the first time) this show as a one-act to be performed and adjudicated at the Annual Colorado Theatre Conference in Denver this December. Currently nearly 6,000 high school students from all over the state attend this festival where we not only are given an opportunity to perform our work in front of our peers but also to take workshops throughout the two days: everything from stage combat, jazz or swing dancing, improv, Shakespeare, monologue work, how to audition, voice technique and singing to lighting design, sound design, stage management, directing, playwriting and directing workshops.
Your attendance at this performance locally will help them prepare to take the stage in Denver! We look forward to you coming out to support your local friends, family, and the arts!
