Puppets for Grown-ups!

Join us for some casual silliness. Grab a beer, a glass of wine and get out your googly eyes. This is a crafting party from the comfort of your home. We will be making puppets from socks, pants, shirts, whatever old clothes you have lying around. Consider it a creative form of spring cleaning. Be forewarned, the conversations tend to get pretty awesome.

Participation is limited to 12 folks, so preregister by contacting us at info@historicutetheatre.com and we will contact you with more info and zoom link.

Materials:

hot glue

scissors

fabric/ socks/ pants/ any puppet sized, disposable piece of soft fabric

stuffing/ batting

cardboard

googly eyes, buttons, pom poms, jewels, yarn, floss, random stuff you find on the floor

About Katrina:

Katrina has worked in education for over 20 years. Her experience ranges from educational therapy to circus performance, curriculum building, support groups and spearheading community theater in both urban and rural communities. She has dedicated herself to creating inclusive, child-directed programming with a focus on play, improvisation, puppetry, circus art and storytelling. Her work, with both individuals and in groups, supports emotional wellbeing through different stages of learning. In her off time, she’s a big fan of making silly stuff with others.
