Move your body to the fun and flirtatious rhythm of the Cuban Cha-Cha-Cha (also called Cha-Cha), a must have in your social dance arsenal. The Cha Cha Cha evolved from a slow version of the Cuban Mambo called “Triple Mambo” or Mambo with guiro rhythm and Danzon. This musical rhythm inspired dancers to dance a hip syncopation in the middle of the forward and back breaks of a mambo, eventually evolving to a triple step. In this workshop, participants will take time to master the basic steps of the featured dance rhythm, “Cha Cha Cha”, along with Dominican style Bachata.
