THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI is a spooky silent cinema classic. Released in 1920, it's a quintessential film of the style known as German Expressionism. The sets and costumes are meticulously crafted in a surreal, strange and twisted manner that strikes an extremely unique mood that cinema hasn't quite seen since. It's the story of a dubious carnival exhibitionist, Dr. Caligari, and his future-telling somnambulist (sleepwalker), Cesare. Featuring an original live music score from Denver musicians Kris Drickey, William Overton and David B. Weaver.
